How Our Vacation Rental Process Works

We have two approaches to our rentals – our Premium Rentals and our Upon Request Rentals.

For our Premium Rentals, we reserve weeks as soon as they become available that we know are popular for renting. Sometimes we will also post weeks here that we plan to use ourselves but would be willing to rent out. (Some we just keep for ourselves and don’t tell you about!)  See the Premium Rentals page for information about the weeks we have already reserved and confirmed.

Once a week is rented, it’s gone. It’s first come, first served. In general, we’re limited to approximately 10 to 12 Premium Rental weeks per year that we can reserve, so when those weeks are gone, they’re gone.

If you like one of our Premium Rentals, but want to reserve it for future use, let us know and we will attemp to reserve it for you once the reservation window opens. Some of our customers enjoy going to the same resort at the same time each year. This does require some advance planning on both your part and ours – you need to let us know at least one year in advance so that we can reserve these popular weeks. Once we reserve your week, we offer a flexible payment plan. We only require a $100 non-refundable deposit at time of reservation. A second non-refundable payment of 50% of the balance is due 3 months before the rental period. The final payment is due one month prior to the reserved week. We also offer a “Price Freeze” guarantee for these repeat customers. If you book the same resort next year (same resort, same unit size, same week), we will rent that week to you at the same rental amount as this year. This allows you to lock in your rental rate at this year’s rate. Obviously, this is only available if we are able to reserve the week that you request. We also have access to about 18,000 weeks with Interval International, a timeshare exchange company. Through our II access, we can reserve an additional 10 to 15 weeks per year Upon Request. If there’s a particular resort you would like to stay at, let us know. There is no obligation, so let us check to see if the week and type of unit you want is available. If it is, we’ll quote you a rental price.

When you request a week from us (either Premium or Upon Request), we’ll fill out the lease form with the appropriate information and send you a copy of it. You return the signed agreement with a 50% non-refundable deposit, and the week is yours. The final payment is due one month prior to the reserved week. There is an escrow service available if you would like, but all costs for the escrow service are to be paid by you. We accept payment by check or PayPal, but if you choose to pay using PayPal, you will need to pay the PayPal fee in addition to the rent.

While we have stayed at quite a few resorts, there a lot we haven’t seen. We do our very best to find good locations that will provide an excellent vacation experience. However, it is your responsibility to make sure that the resort meets your needs and comfort level—we make no claims about the quality of the resorts.
